IADC Well Control Middle East Conference & Exhibition

Well control has always been an important component of responsible drilling. Today, however, with an increased emphasis on high-pressure and high-temperature wells, and the prospect of ultimately drilling 20,000-psi wells, well-control technology techniques and operations are critical. At the same time, the current environment of increasing rig count increase the challenges of properly managing well control operations. To ensure that this crucial discipline receives the attention it deserves, the International Association of Drilling Contractors is convening the IADC Well Control Middle East Conference & Exhibition on 2-3 December 2008 in Muscat, Oman.
