How We Build Our Program
Interop is more than a conference; at its heart is a like-minded community of IT practitioners and advocates who are passionate about helping their peers and fostering the next generation of technologists. With that in mind, we have long enlisted independent experts and consultants as track chairs to help select sessions and speakers that will resonate best with attendees.
Track chairs consult heavily with the Interop Review Board, a group of past attendees, speakers, and industry experts who draw on their experiences and perspective to shape a program that is relevant and meaningful.
Interop also draws on highly respected technology journalists from its related media properties for insight: InformationWeek, Dark Reading, and Network Computing editors serve on the Review Board, as track chairs, and as Summit leaders. They bring their subject matter and industry expertise to bear with an eye toward ensuring that content remains independent and objective.
Take a break from the day-to-day grind to hear about different technologies, trends, strategies, and approaches from folks who are not only dealing with similar issues and challenges but who want to share the good, the bad, and the ugly.
In a landscape full of conferences organized by technology providers or very specific organizations, Interop is the only event where technology leaders can get a full view of what`s happening across IT disciplines and how your peers are managing the rapid pace of change.
We aim to nurture every aspect of your career by offering content across all key technologies, plus areas that help you develop the skills necessary for managing a successful IT organization:
Network with IT decision makers looking to discover technology solutions outside of their current vendor ecosystem at Interop’s TechFair: a pop-up marketplace taking place in the middle of the IT community’s legendary annual conference!
For IT decision makers, Interop’s TechFair is a three-hour evening event dedicated to researching and discovering new enterprise technology companies, products, and solutions.
For IT vendors, it’s an opportunity to connect with IT decision makers who are primed to meet new solution providers. Interop attendees are vested in learning the latest and greatest on how to run a modern IT organization – and all the technology options available – in an unbiased setting.
The Interop TechFair brings all of this together for a fun night of new connections and new solutions in a casual environment featuring food, drink, and music.
