Petroleum Geology of the Southern South Atlantic

he Southern South Atlantic has seen a significant increase in exploration in recent years. Discoveries have been made in the Malvinas/ Falkland basin, South Africa and offshore Argentina has been the subject of a successful license round. This two-day conference aims to bring together both academic and industry geoscientists to discuss the current state of understanding of the geology and petroleum systems in this emerging petroleum province. Topics ranging from plate- to prospect-scale will be covered.
