An important consideration for all senior business leaders is how to make the management of risk a key ingredient in intelligent decision-making, closely aligned with the successful running of the business. The purpose of this webinar is to help you develop a useable strategy for risk management, while always taking time, resources and finance into careful consideration. Attendees will get clear guidance on how to develop a risk management system which compliments your goals of regulatory compliance.

We will look at the international standard for risk management – ISO 31000 Risk Management – Principles and Guidelines. In addition, we will be using some aspects from ISO 31010 – Risk Assessment Techniques, to support our guidance on selection and application of systematic techniques of risk decision making.

The webinar will also look at some practical examples of measuring risk from a manufacturer’s perspective, for example, when it comes to considering regulatory change as a risk that could impact a product, leading it to be withdrawn or modified.

The audience for this webinar is:

  • anyone involved in assessing risk, including compliance and technical people, designers and developers of new products
  • those who need to make decisions where there is uncertainty

We will not be referring to all techniques of risk assessment and omission of a technique does not mean it is not valid. We will be discussing the tailoring of risk management practices as risks vary in accordance with nature, type and location.
