Collections & Transport
Focusing on the equipment and technology for collection of recycling and resources.
This zone offers solutions for local authorities and private waste management companies, including street sweepers, refuse collection vehicles and associated technologies to ensure the safe and efficient collection of resources.
Machinery & Equipment
The Machinery & Equipment zone showcases the latest equipment for safe handling of waste and recycling including the latest lifting, sorting, shredding, baling and compacting equipment.
Solutions will cover health & safety, size reduction, fire suppression and odour management
Recyclers & Reprocessors
The Recyclers & Reprocessors Zone is where you’ll find technologies and equipment for the treatment and recycling of resources. This includes companies specialising in the innovative handling of waste - including municipal, construction and hazardous materials recycling - with the goal of diverting it from landfill or ensuring as much value as possible is extracted from it.
Data Tech & Services
The Data, Tech & Services zone is home to the growing range of supporting technologies and services to maximise the efficiency of resource management.
Technologies include IoT solutions, digital automation, SaaS, insurance, and payment solutions.
Energy From Waste
Energy from Waste and Bio Energy is a solution capable of diverting materials that can’t be recycled away from landfill, as well as one that offers practical ideas to help meet modern-resource needs.
This zone is dedicated to highlighting the latest tech and solutions.
The Future Resource zone covers sustainability solutions and energy management, with a focus on the latest innovations and industry insights designed for businesses aspiring to be greener, energy efficient and more sustainable.

Waste Tech Theatre
The Waste Tech Theatre looks at the implementation of technologies to optimise waste management and recycling industries. Machinery & Equipment Theatre
The Machinery & Equipment Theatre examines the latest technology and machinery available for the resources and waste management sector the latest lifting, sorting, shredding, baling and compacting machinery, to the latest treatments and recycling processes being used to repurpose and reuse these collected and recovered resources

Shifting the focus of recycling and waste management to the beginning of the products life cycle the Packaging Theatre is where visitors can learn about new packaging techniques and materials, to how and where products fit in to the circular economy. Topics will include, EPR, compliance, new packaging materials and technologies, and case studies on dealing with different types of packaging.
Materials World Theatre
The Materials World Theatre focusses on individual materials, innovations and new technologies, their role in the circular economy, and new methods of handling and recycling. Examining the latest techniques around washing and drying technologies and treatments of different materials..
Collections and Transport Theatre
The Collections and Transport Theatre is where you can learn about the latest collection vehicles, street sweepers and other waste handling systems. Topics will include reducing emissions, electric vehicles, safety systems and collection harmonisation.
Energy From Waste and Bio Energy Theatre
The Energy from Waste Theatre explores the key strategies that organisations can adopt to generate energy from waste cost-effectively. Topics include the future of advance thermal treatment, the carbon intensity of future energy from waste and residue management.
Future Resource Theatre

Circular Economy Theatre

Plant a Tree
This initiative takes a step in offsetting the unavoidable carbon created to make a trade show of this scale possible. Creating new UK woodlands will assist with capturing excess carbon and creating new ecosystems. Once an exhibitor or sponsor joins RWM, a tree will be planted in a dedicated space of woodland in your name.
