Eleven award symposia are scheduled, plus numerous student and FACSS-sponsored poster awards. A full list of awards with detailed information is here.
The FACSS Innovation Award, is a juried prize awarded to the most innovative, creative, and outstanding work making its world debut at SciX. The winner is selected in a special oral session featuring candidates selected from contributed talks. The Innovation Award provides a $1500 cash prize.
Multiple poster sessions are distributed throughout the week, starting at the Conference Opening on Sunday evening and continuing every day on the exhibit floor. Student awards for the best posters in each session are selected by FACSS and several of the member societies and sponsors.
New and innovative contributions are at the heart of the FACSS goal of fostering scientific exchange. Space is dedicated in every oral session for contributed papers to give them a wide audience. Both professionals and students are encouraged to submit their work. Papers for SciX 2017 may be submitted here beginning in spring of 2017

Opportunities for Students
SciX is the premier conference for students to present their work, meet the top scientists in their field, and develop networks with professionals in academics, industry, and government, and with other students. FACSS and its member societies have numerous opportunities for free or reduced conference registration, as well as travel and other awards.
Building a Scientific Tradition Since Day One
Since its beginnings in 1973, FACSS has created a tradition of proudly bringing together leading scientists across many disciplines for scientific exchange.
FACSS has accomplished this mission through world-class technical programs, exhibitions, and a variety of informal networking opportunities. The meetings cover the whole of analytical chemistry with an emphasis on emerging technologies.
Over the years, FACSS has developed a loyal following of conferees from the U.S. and abroad who have traveled with us to many cities across North America. For your participation and continued support, we thank you.
