The Air Quality and Emissions Show (AQE) 2017
The 9th in the series of Air Quality & Emissions Events will focus on industrial emissions and stack monitoring of (Part A) processes regulated by the Environment Agency, ambient air quality monitoring, the emissions to air of Part A2 and Part B processes controlled by local authorities, MCERTS standards, aspects of air quality protection and treatment. There are two conferences planned at AQE 2017, One covering Air Quality and the other focused on Emissions.
- Event Type:
- Conference/Seminar
- Date:
- May 24-25, 2017
- Venue:
- Telford International Centre
- Location:
- Telford , UK
The Emissions conference will take place on Day on...
The Emissions conference will take place on Day one - 24th May and is titled Monitoring of difficult species and regulation for stack emissions
The topics for this conference are
- Compliance requirements of European directives
- Acid gases: HF and HCl
- Alkaline gases: ammonia
- PM10 and PM2.5 particulate measurement
- Trace species: e.g. mercury
The Air Quality conference will be the Investigation of Air Polluition Standing Conference which is organised by Ricardo Energy & Environment.
The conference will feature nine expert speakers who will give timely and topical guidance on overcoming the challenges facing the air quality community. Topics will be based around air quality measurement and monitoring.
Event organiser Marcus Pattison states 'The need to produce accurate, reliable emissions monitoring data is the same whatever the industrial process,' he says. 'Furthermore, the technologies are invariably the same and the people responsible for emissions are often also responsible for all aspects of environmental monitoring, including workplace monitoring, ambient monitoring, leak detection, fugitive emissions, fence line monitoring, air treatment etc. It therefore makes sense for all of this to be brought together under one umbrella at the AQE SHOW.'
Emissions monitoring will remain a central theme for the event, with the addition of other applications for gas and particulate monitoring this will substantially increase the scope and size of the event. For example, whilst the previous MCERTS events addressed the needs of those affected by the Environmental Permitting Regulations (large and/or complex industrial processes), AQE 2017 will also meet the needs of Local Authorities for ambient monitoring and for the many thousands of industrial processes that Local Authorities inspect and authorise.
The Air Quality and Emissions event will host packed Conference and Workshop programme to accompany the international Exhibition.
Topics covered in the 2017 event will include:
Ambient Monitoring, CEMS, Dioxin Monitoring, Mcerts, Regulation, Medium Combustion Plant Directive, Calibration, Air Treatment, Discontinuous Monitoring, Gas Analysis, Odour Monitoring & Treatment, Data Acquisition, Workplace Monitoring, Fence Line Monitoring, Manual Stack Monitoring, Abatement Technologies, Fugitive Emissions, and Operator Monitoring Assessment.
About AQE SHOW 2013 – Organisers
For over 37 years, International Labmate the organiser of AQE Show has been providing manufacturers of environmental, laboratory & petro chemical equipment with ideal platforms to market their products.
Covering different geographical regions, the journals provide all the latest environmental, laboratory & petro chemical product news coupled with business news and in-depth technical articles which aim to problem solve and address key issues at the forefront of the industry.
In 2002 the company launched Mcerts Air Monitoring events with the Source Testing Assoication (STA). Now we also run and organise other specialist conference and exhibitions such as CEM (International Conference and exhibition on Emissions Monitoring), WWEM (The Water, Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring Show), ICMGP (11th International Conference on Mercury as a Global Pollutant). We are also the UK sales agents for the Arablab exhibitions.

Day 2 (25th May 2017): Investigation of Air Pollution Standing Conference (IAPSC)
Investigation of Air Pollution Standing Conference (IAPSC)
The Investigation of Air Pollution Standing Conference (IAPSC) is a twice-yearly, one-day conference organised by leading environmental consultancy, Ricardo Energy & Environment. The 2017 conference will be held at the Telford International Centre on the second day of the Air Quality and Emissions Show on the 25 May 2017.
IASPC is aimed at organisations involved in the monitoring and management of air pollution, from local authority personnel in environmental health, pollution control and planning through to industry and academia. It provides a rare forum for delegates from across the sector to share expert insight on new developments and best practice in air quality assessment and control. IAPSC has its origin in the 1960s as a forum for Local Authorities participating in national air pollution monitoring programmes (at that time, primarily for smoke and sulphur dioxide), and is led by an elected agenda committee from across the sector.
The conference will feature nine expert speakers who will give timely and topical guidance on overcoming the challenges facing the air quality community. Topics will be based around air quality measurement and monitoring
Combining the conference with the 2017 Air Quality and Emissions Show will provide delegates greater visibility of the technical solutions available for air quality monitoring, testing, analysis and treatment and more opportunities to discuss key issues with those at the forefront of the industry.
