The SHE Show 2009
The SHE Show is a high profile paid-for conference running alongside a free-to-attend exhibition featuring key suppliers and service providers in the fields of safety health and environment. This year’s conference will be chaired by the famous botanist, writer and broadcaster Professor David Bellamy OBE. Delegates will hear first-hand the personal impact of what really happens when safety goes wrong by Ian Whittingham MBE, followed by a presentation from the leading expert in the field of regulatory crime, public inquiries and inquests Barrister Gerard Forlin. Case studies will feature from Mona Smith of PerkinElmer who introduced what is believed to be the UK’s first fully integrated wellbeing programme and Chris Jerman from John Lewis who will be discussing the ways in which organisations are looking at behavioural safety as a way of improving their performance. Delegates will then hear from Jane Willis of the Health and Safety Executive and leading behavioural safety experts; Tim Marsh of Ryder Marsh & Co and Martin Woodall of Lattitude Safety who will consider methods to improving health and safety culture and changing behaviours and attitudes. The conference will then draw to a successful close with closing remarks from Professor David Bellamy OBE who will highlight what the future holds for the global environment. Places for the Conference are issued on a first-come first-served basis.
