Welding Week Antwerp - 2026
Welding Week Antwerp is a leading event for the welding and metalworking industry in the Benelux region. The exhibition brings together manufacturers, distributors and professionals who want to discover the latest developments in welding technology, automation and workplace safety. During the event, Plymovent will present its solutions for welding fume extraction that help create cleaner and safer workshops. Visitors can meet our specialists and learn how effective source extraction and filtration systems help reduce welding fumes and improve air quality in metalworking environments.
After 2 years, your welding event is back: Welding Week. On 19, 20 and 21 May, the metal sector of Belgium and the Netherlands will once again come together in Antwerp Expo.
At this edition, besides the well-known welding and cutting technologies, there is much more to discover at Welding Week. From now on, you can also find solutions for all your metalworking needs at Metal. At Subcontracting, you will meet industrial suppliers specialised in metal parts and machining.
These 3 trade fairs are organised together and give shape to the umbrella name of: Advanced Manufacturing Belgium.

During the trade fair, BIL/VCL will host the welding symposium, and Belmetal will present the prestigious Steel Warriors Award. Visitors can also take part in the VDAB competition to become the Belgian champion in virtual welding, or weld their own message onto VCL’s impressive Wall of Flame.
Best Metal Project 2026 showcases innovative ideas and technical craftsmanship in metal. Students, artists and professionals are invited to submit their own metal creations and showcase their work to a wide audience from the sector.
A selection of the entries will be presented during the trade fair on a special photo wall, where visitors can discover the various projects and vote for their favourite. Participants will also have the opportunity to exhibit their work on the exhibition floor.
The entry that receives the most votes will be rewarded with an attractive prize from ESAB and will also receive extra visibility during Welding Week – Metal – Subcontracting.
