What is a Positive PS Plate?

A Positive PS Plate is a key material used in lithographic offset printing. It forms the printing surface through UV exposure and developing processes. The core principle relies on diazonaphthoquinone (DNQ) photosensitive agents, which undergo photodecomposition under UV light, producing soluble compounds. During development, the exposed areas dissolve to form hydrophilic blank regions, while the unexposed areas remain oleophilic to create image and text areas.
