2014 Nonresidential Consensus Construction Forecast

After having a lackluster year, key findings from the American Institute of Architects (AIA)’s consensus forecast indicate that nonresidential building activity is set to recover in 2014. Overall nonresidential construction is expected to increase by 5.8% this year—and this recovery will even continue in 2015.
Despite concerns about supply conditions, leading construction forecasters are convinced that stronger economic performance and increased consumer spending will boost the nonresidential construction industry.
