C & A Scientific and the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education Announce Partnership to Reduce Scientific Laboratory Equipment Costs for Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Predominantly Black Institutions

C & A Scientific, a 27-year old laboratory product manufacturer and supplier in medical, science educational, and toy retail markets, proudly announces a nation-wide partnership with the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education (NAFEO). The partnership, known as the Lab Partner Program, will provide NAFEO’s esteemed members, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs), access to high-quality laboratory instruments and tools, supplies, and equipment at significantly reduced costs. Through the cost-savings, the Lab Partner Program will allow HBCUs and PBIs to fully equip and update their research and teaching laboratories and science education programs to attract and retain students in the STEM (science, education, engineering, and math) related studies, with the goal of promoting diversity and opportunities in STEM careers.

“Specifically, the Lab Partner Program with C & A Scientific will allow NAFEO’s members access to literally hundreds of items – microscopes, centrifuges, and other diagnostic and research equipment, plus microscopes slides, medical consumables, and an entire portfolio of laboratory supplies,” says Kevin Dennis, National Account Executive with C & A Scientific.  Dennis is alumni of Prairie View A&M University (an HBCU).
