Draft recommendation for UK REACH Authorisation List (Annex XIV) published

 HSE has published their 2023 draft recommendation for inclusion into Annex XIV (the “Authorisation List”) of UK REACH. The following substances are included in the draft recommendation:

•  Diisohexyl phthalate; DIHxP (CAS: 71850-09-4; EC: 276-090-2)

Following publication, there is now a consultation period to invite comments on the draft recommendation. Interested parties will have three months to submit their comments, providing information specific to the Great Britain context such as consequences, alternatives and exemptions.

draft background document for DIHxP, and; the approach being taken by HSE to identify priority substances for inclusion in its recommendations.
