Great response to our Permeation Analysers at the 2016 KShow

We received a great response to our range of gas permeation instruments at the K 2016 International Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber in Dusseldorf. Visitors were particularly enthusiastic about the 8700 multiple bottle oxygen permeation analyser on display. This permeation analyser has the ability to test a variety of samples; bottles, packages and films and the capability to allow individual packages to be started, stopped or delayed during testing. Bottle manufacturers were especially interested as the instrument can test up to 11 bottles in 3 to 12 hours. Oxygen permeability is key as permeation of oxygen through the bottle will have a significant influence on the products shelf life.

We also introduced the DualPerm, combined oxygen and water vapour permeation station at the K trade fair. The combination package offers substantial savings to the initial purchase cost of 2 separate permeation analysers; shared computer interface; shared nitrogen supply and reduced installation costs.

Approximately 230,000 people from more than 160 countries visited the exhibition site, which was fully booked by more than 3,200 exhibitors. The good economic state of the plastics and rubber sector and the positive outlook for the future characterised the world’s biggest trade fair for the industry and visitors showed a pronounced willingness to invest.
