Helios Trek provides hand-portable technology for high-resolution NMR analysis of soil core samples

The Helios Trek is applicable to projects in groundwater resources, environmental remediation, geotechnical engineering, and mining, where extraction of soil and rock sore samples are already widely employed. The ability to perform magnetic resonance measurements on these soil and rock core samples in the field enables additional  fast and objective measurements of water content and other key hydrogeological properties that would otherwise require expensive and time-consuming laboratory analysis.

The image below shows a good agreement between water content estimated by gravimetric analysis and the one measured by Helios Trek system.
