inCTRL Solutions Announces Acquisition and opsCTRL Release Date
Dundas, Ontario, Canada -- inCTRL Solutions, which is globally recognized as one of the leading resources for wastewater treatment and biogas expertise, is proud to announce the release of the innovative opsCTRL software for Friday, 8 October.
Earlier this year, inCTRL acquired the WaterExpert software from Ovivo, a SKion Water company and a global leader in wastewater systems, intending to combine the capabilities of WaterExpert with inCTRL’s own opsCTRL monitoring and control platform. Since then, inCTRL Solutions’ software development and process teams have focused on integrating both software packages into the new opsCTRL software.
Company President and Chief Strategy Officer, Dr. Leiv Rieger, noted the seamless transition of the acquisition and the exciting development occurring behind the scenes. “We used the time since the acquisition in March to focus on the development of our innovative monitoring concepts for Sensors, Process, Equipment and Controls – our SPEC concept – that holistically integrates asset lifecycle opportunities and data asset management with increased process insights and data visualization enabling improved plant operation and peak efficiency.”
“With the software integration well under way, we are proudly announcing opsCTRL™ as the name for the combined tools. These improvements set the stage for seamless integration of our advanced simulation and data analytics tools to provide unmatched insights and to offer edge computing solutions for optimized process performance. Our goal is to support WRRF plant operators and biogas facilities in their daily work,” Leiv Rieger continued.
“The brand changeover will officially take place on Friday, 8 October,” noted Chief Product Officer Dave Williams. “We have devised a communications plan with our users and stakeholders to make the transition as transparent as possible.” Accompanying the software release is a new logo and brand strategy. “The opsCTRL tag line “Evolving Operations” firmly declares the commitment of the inCTRL Solutions team that the future is digital, and that true digital optimization is supporting operators’ desires for efficiency of their operations,” remarked Dave Williams.
The new opsCTRL app will be available for download on the transition date. The app will integrate the user experience from WaterExpert with the monitoring & control power of opsCTRL. The new app will support the same ease of use and include expanded and powerful features inherent in the opsCTRL mission to serve facility operation and enable knowledge sharing between facilities and suppliers. The inCTRL team is committed to provide a seamless transition experience and will support our existing customers in the process.
