International Passive Sampling Workshop and Symposium (IPSW 2009)

IPSW 2009 will host several satellite workshops. An expert group meeting dedicated to passive sampling techniques for monitoring emerging pollutants will be organised by NORMAN, the Network of reference laboratories and related organisations for monitoring and bio-monitoring of emerging environmental pollutants.. In addition, the First Passive Sampling Intercalibration study (1st IPSIC) will be performed in 2009. This initiative shall support QA/QC for broader use of passive sampling techniques. These meeting will be linked to the IPSW 2009 and will form a valuable part of the main conference.

We believe that overall IPSW 2009 activities will provide a valuable opportunity for experts using the various passive sampling methods to exchange ideas and experiences.
