KISTERS Hires New Sales and Support Specialist in Canada

Steve Elgie recently joined the KISTERS North American team in Canada as a sales and support specialist. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Geography (focus on geomatics and hydrology) and a Master of Science in Geography (focus on hydrology) from the University of Guelph. His thesis focus was assessing the effects of pollutant reduction strategies using a hydrologic model integrated into ArcGIS. With over ten years of GIS experience, he will contribute to the application and display of WISKI outputs in ArcGIS. His recent work experience includes time as a GIS technician as well as in the land acquisition industry as a negotiator and project lead for large scale green energy and oil and gas projects, working closely with NextEra Energy (Florida Power & Light), TransCanada Pipelines, and Enbridge. He is very passionate about water management and resource use, and excited to be a part of the KISTERS organization. He is looking forward to working with you all!
