The EM‑5 infrared module is a gas analysis module based on the principle of Non‑Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) absorption spectroscopy. It is suitable for stationary emission sources, mobile emission sources, greenhouse gases, industrial processes, blast furnace gas, and roadside monitoring.

Using the NDIR principle, it measures the following components:
CO
CO2
N2O
HC
