Nuclear certified gate valve supplied to Cofrentes

A new Nuclear classified valve supplied by Babcock. A 20” class 150# ASME Section III Class 2 motorized gate valve operated by electric actuator for Cofrentes (Spain) nuclear power plant (1110 MWe). One of the special tests carried out at our facilities has been a diagnosis by means of electronic sensors, to detect any unexpected distortion in the valve stem elongation while valve opening / closing.
