Slick Sleuth™ Oil Spill Detection & Alarm Systems are used for immediate detection, early warning alert, containment and prevention of accidental spills – averting environmental damage, costly cleanup, and possible fines or regulatory penalties. The optical sensor detects small amounts of oil and can be configured to automatically shut off pumps or valves, activate alarms and personnel notification.
Slick Sleuth’s non-contact design is ideal for remote deployment in rugged settings such as offshore, harbors, inland waterways, industrial spillways, sumps and separators. Slick Sleuth is highly sensitive to the detection of crude, turbine, lube, hydraulic, fuel and most other hydrocarbon derivatives. Slick Sleuth is mounted above the water facilitating ease of installation and eliminating O & M expense.
