Turning rainwater into drinking water for your home is made possible with the RainCatcher RainSafe.
Rainwater, groundwater or municipal water – whatever the original source, our new RainSafe units provide great tasting, perfectly purified water, using technology developed in co-operation with both the University of Exeter and Trinity College Dublin, and supported by the European Commission under its CIP Eco-innovation program.
This is achieved by the RainSafe’s ability to treat, store and pressurise water, cleverly monitoring the water quality and acting to destroy any bacteria, viruses and cysts that may be lurking in there!
Safety and cleanliness is at the heart of the system. E.coli, cryptosporidium, legionella and other bacteria, along with chlorine and other impurities in your water, are all removed by KIWA-certified bacteriological treatment.
With Wi-Fi connectivity, water quality data is constantly measured and logged (every 20 seconds!) before being treated and once pure then pumped under pressure into the drinking water distribution network. The ‘geeky gadgets’ don’t end there as failsafe protections are in place using multiple sensors on the unit to detect unexpected flow events, blockages, leaks and more, even providing predictive analytics too.
