Russetts, the water containment specialist sponsors golf tour

Russetts Developments Ltd (RDL) supply flexible rubber liners to a range of industries looking for water containment solutions including that of reservoirs and water storage tanks installed as a water source for the irrigation systems used on golf courses. RDL, therefore found it fitting to sponsor a local junior golf tournament and here we share a few images from the first day on tour on 9th April 2015.

Golf clubs are well known for their lush greens which comes at a great expense. Monthly maintenance schedules are used to keep the greens in perfect condition to meet the demands of golfers and attract their patronage at a golf club.

Reclaiming rainwater is one of the means employed to lower utility costs and also reduce the burden on mains water supplies. Water storage tanks lined with a rubber tank liner membrane will protect the storage tank and reduce tank maintenance. Collected water can be used for irrigation purposes during drier periods. The use of a water tank will also reduce run-off into storm water drains.

Water retention ponds or lakes are part of the landscape of many golf courses and apart from being an attractive feature, they also capture rainwater and run-off which, when full, can be pumped out for irrigation purposes. Rubber lake liners act to contain the water preventing lose through ground seepage.
