Standby Power for Stormwater Pumping Station in Sharjah

Cummins Inc. has provided a turnkey solution of 2 x 1500 kVA prime-rated and 1 x 550 kVA standby rated enclosed generator sets complete with fuel tanks, fuel transfer pump, leak detection, a single master control panel with integrated switchgear to Sharjah in the UAE. The equipment has been installed in Sharjah’s PS10B Storm Water Pumping Station. Three generator sets were installed: a pair of C1675D5A, 1500 kVA, 400 V, 50 Hz prime power generator sets in 85 dBA @ 1m enclosures with 3000-litre day fuel tanks were supplied, along with a single C550D5e, 550 kVA, 400 V, 50 Hz enclosed standby set with base fuel tank.

Two 5,000-litre, double wall, mild steel bulk fuel tanks were included, complete with leak detection system, level switch, level gauge, flame arrester and solenoid valve.
