The world`s first nacelle LiDAR full field application project hoisting completed

On December 23, 2018, Nanjing Movelaser Co., Ltd. hoisted the world`s first nacelle lidar full field application project. The wind farm is the Qinghai Yellow River Gonghe County SPIC project. It is the largest wind farm with single-stage installed capacity in China. It is located in Gonghe County, Hainan Prefecture, Qinghai Province. The wind farm has an installed capacity of 450,000 kilowatts and is equipped with a 2MW low-temperature plateau sand-proof wind-cooled wind turbine and 225 Molas NL nacelle-based wind lidars.

Before the hoisting was completed, the commissioning work of the wind farm in Qinghai Yellow River Gonghe County has been carried out simultaneously. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the project and the rapid operation of the wind farm, the engineers actively cooperated to complete the on-site Molas NL commissioning work with high efficiency and high quality.

Up to December 25, it has successfully cooperated with wind turbines to debug more than 100 sets of Molas NL. It is reported that some units will be connected to the grid before 2019. At that time, the nacelle-based wind lidar will also formally land on the stage of the wind power project, which is a milestone in the application of wind lidar in the wind power industry.
