The Ashtead Technology 11″ Ring Saw is designed specifically for cutting various steels, materials and coatings, including bend stiffeners ranging from 2in-11in.
The 11″ Ring Saw’s unique design eliminates the need for a centre drive motor, resulting in maximum cut penetration for its blade size and exceptional torque. This allows for a smaller drive motor and reduced hydraulic power requirements, resulting in a compact and slimline saw with minimal footprint and deck space requirements.
Weighing only 68kg in water, this lightweight and user-friendly 11″ Ring Saw can operate in access-restricted areas and can withstand depths of up to 3000m. It is capable of performing fast and accurate cuts back-to-back without the need for a deck recovery for blade changes.
The versatility of the 11″Ring Saw is further enhanced by its ability to be configured to suit different project requirements, whether it be for diver, ROV or topside operations.
