Headspace vials are a kind of laboratory vials for top space analysis, with the features of high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. A headspace vial is used in the process of top – gas chromatography. When detecting volatile or semi-volatile mixtures with high boiling points, we need to heat them to vaporize them at the top. In this process, since the liquid samples are at the bottom, the material in the top gas can be measured without touching the liquid in the sample vial. The material of Headspace Vials is low extractable Borosilicate glass with low expansion rate, high-temperature resistance, high strength, high hardness, high light transmittance and high chemical stability. Headspace Vials suitable for headspace analysis of volatile solids and gases.

Available in clear and amber USP1 borosilicate glass with screws and crimp top.
The round bottom vial distributes the internal pressure generated under the high temperature of the glass surface, and it is easier to handle the vial being lifted from the tray by the robot arm.
The screw-head empty vial has 18mm Magnetic cap, which is suitable for autosampler using magnetic transportation, while crimping the top bottle to be used with aluminum cap
