Eurogentec - 2-Aminopurine (DNA) - 1 Modification
2-Amino-purine is an analog to adenine and guanine. This modified molecule has natural fluorescent properties. 2-amino-purine can pair with thymine, uridine and also with cytosine. Based on that 2-amino-purine is often used for mutagenesis and also as probe to study DNA/RNA molecule structure.
