These elements also aid in making the Saf 2205 Blind Flange resistant to even  oxidizing and acidic solutions.

Uns S32205 Pipe Flange is resistant to chloride stress related corrosion cracking. Especially when the Alloy 2205 Blrf Flange is exposed to temperatures of up to about 302°F or 150°C. The presence of ferrite in the Saf 2205 Sorf ensures a good performance even in caustic environments. Heat resistance of the A790 S32205 Pipe Flange is similar to other duplex stainless steel grades. Flanges produced from duplex 2205 has good resistance  to oxidation at high or elevated temperatures. Even though the Astm A182 Uns S31803 Material is subject to embrittlement on exposure to temperatures that are above 572°F  or 300°C. This holds true when duplex 2207 is  exposed for short periods of time; Hence, use of Duplex 2205 stainless steel flanges is not recommended at temperatures above 572°F  or 300°C.

Although this stainless steel has good weldable properties, the 2205 Duplex Stainless Steel Flanges  is generally not welded without the use of filler metal. Welding this alloy without a filler metal may result in excessive ferrite. The heat treatment done on the Astm A182 Uns S31803 is by performing  annealing at a temperature range of 1868 to 2012°F. Since, duplex grade of stainless steel cannot be hardened by heat treatment, they could be work hardened. A special consideration is required to compensate for a higher coefficient of thermal expansion in order to avoid warping and distortion of these 2205 Duplex Flanges.
