Viskon-Aire - Model Series 440HC -3-Pocket Filters
The Series 440HC is a MERV 8 “V” Style filter used to replace cube filters. It is used as a primary filter in paint spray booths in Assembly plants as well as in general HVAC and manufacturing plants where long life and high efficiency are required. The 2 Ply filter with high loft layer provides high dirt holding capacity and the self–seal construction, with our PBT-32™ “Never Dry”Tackifier, prevents bypass and unloading. Also available with a 1” or 1-1/8 header.
Viskon-Aire* Series 440 HC 3-pocket, self-sealing extended surface filters are designed to meet the harshest operating environments in any HVAC system. The Series 440 HC is manufactured from progressively structured fibers to better manage ingested particles throughout the two-plys of media. On the upstream side, larger denier fibers are used to capture large particles, and on the downstream side finer denier fibers are used to capture and retain smaller particles. The Series 440 HC uses a proprietary non-migrating PBT-32 tackifying system which is FDA approved to ensure retention of captured particulate, even in turbulent HVAC systems.
The Series 440 HC uses a unique self-sealing design with a 9 gauge wire that force fits the filter media into the filter framing system ensuring a no-leak design. For side access units, just ask the Viskon-Aire* representative for the model number for side-access HVAC systems. The Series 440 HC extended surface filter can be used in general HVAC systems, automotive assembly plants, hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, telecommunication switching stations, and industrial environments where strong performance is required. The Viskon-Aire* Series 440 HC has been tested to both ASHRAE 52.2-2012
