3G Effluent Disinfection Modules
Our Effluent Disinfection Modules are specifically designed for the disinfection of treated effluent. Incorporating patented self cleaning technology, the 3G unit has no moving parts, ensuring trouble free operation with the minimum of operator intervention.
Due to its modular design, the 3G units can be easily coupled in series or parallel to treat higher flow rates. Designed to be permanently buried, the 3G unit can be coupled directly to the aerobic plant discharge pipe or can even be built into the treatment plant chamber.
All of the electrical controls are conveniently housed in an IP67 rated control box. Low UV output / lamp failure alarm contacts are provided within the controller to warn the user in the event of an alarm condition developing.
UV light is an increasingly popular wastewater disinfection method. 3G UV units have several inherent advantages over other disinfection techniques.
