The AISI-304 stainless steel submersible pumps have been designed following the NEMA standards. They are suitable for pumping clear and cold water (free of air/gasses) along with the thin, non-aggressive and non-explosive liquid that contains no fibers or solid particles (level of sand particles has to remain less than 50 g/m³). A non-return valve prevents the backflow in relation to the pump stoppage and reduces the risk of water-hammer to minimum. The valve casing minimizes the loss of pressure across the valve. The water-lubricated bearings ensure that the sand particles leave the pump mixed with the liquid. The stop ring (designed as the thrust bearing) limits a pump shaft’s axial movements and protects a pump during transport as well as during up-thrust when it starts running.
