Air Torque - 4th Generation Rack and Pinion Pneumatic Actuators
The 4th Generation Upgrade Series by Air Torque represents a significant advancement in the field of pneumatic actuators. This line of aluminum rack and pinion actuators delivers an output torque of up to 10,000 Nm, accommodating a range of mechanical applications. Available in 17 different sizes, both in double acting and spring return formats, the series offers versatility in protection with at least six different coating and material combinations, thereby ensuring compatibility with various installation environments. This series also supports a wide temperature range from -60°C to 150°C, making it adaptable for diverse operational conditions. Key technical features include 90° rotation capability, multiple ISO flange and drive shaft connections, stainless steel fasteners, and enhanced adjustment for opening and closing angles. The actuators are compatible with compressed dry or lubricated air and inert gases. Certified to meet several international standards, including ATEX 2014/34/EU and SIL3, these actuators are built for reliability and compliance with rigorous industrial demands.
