apricot - Model S1 -96 And 384 Channel Liquid Handling System
Increased productivity with flexible multi-channel pipetting
The multi-channel liquid handling system with convenient interchangeable pipetting core enables researchers to pipette into all wells of a 96-well plate with an S-Pipette 96 core, or 384-well plate with S-Pipette 384 core. The instrument is more than 12x faster than a conventional 8-channel handheld pipettor, making it ideal for laboratories taking their first steps towards automation.
The S1 uses apricot’s unique EZ-Load disposable tips for simple, no-pressure loading without a requirement for any tools.
The instrument incorporates adjustable split level manually actuated plate elevators for individual sampling using multiple plates and supports a variety of SBS format labware.
The instrument is easily and intuitively controlled through a simple touchscreen interface and requires minimal operator training.
The compact design conserves precious bench space and fits easily into suitably sized hoods.
