The Disc Pastillators consist of one or more horizontal jacketed discs. The discs are cooled with water or brine in a closed system so product contamination is avoided.
As the equipment is integrated in a hermetically sealed housing, either inert gas or dry air can be used to avoid condensation on the cooling plates as well as contamination.
The pellets produced are uniform in size and form (normally between 2 - 8 mm in diameter).
