Employees and other acting on ACME’s behalf are responsible for knowing and complying with all applicable environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) laws and regulations, as well as with ACME’s related policies, standards, and guidelines. ACME management also is responsible for ensuring that employees and other acting on ACME’s behalf are properly trained in these laws and policies. To accomplish these goals, ACME adheres to the following EH&S principles:

Comply with all relevant state, federal and customer EH&S laws and regulations, and ACME EH&S policies.
Incorporate appropriate safety and health considerations into employee’s daily job duties and business decisions per OSHA and other regulatory agencies
Operate and maintain equipment, facilities, and processes in a safe manner.
Provide all employees with the necessary information, instruction, training, and supervision needed to ensure safe working practices are adhered to, and to develop quality, environmental and safety awareness amongst employees. ACME takes safety very seriously. To ensure employees are both trained and fit for work, the following have been put into place:
New Employee 4-hour Safety Training (Appendix E)
Monthly trainings in accordance with Acme’s EH&S policies and any new customer specific training requirements (Appendix F)
Employee Training includes:
- Hazwoper 40-hour and 8-hour refreshers
- CPR/First Aid Training
- Annual Hazmat Physicals
  - Audiometric test
  - Vision
  - Pulmonary clearance
  - Respirator certification in accordance w/ OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134
  - Full face respirator fit test
  - Drug and alcohol test
  - Blood Work/Labs
- TWIC card holders
- Confined space trained
- Adhere to required customer specific safety trainings (i.e. Sunoco Logistics, Holly Frontier, and Enbridge)
Random DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing
Quarterly Safety Audits conducted by an outside consultant
Daily JSAs on job-sites
Member of the following:
- ISNetworld
- PEC Safety/TPS
- NCMS (DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing)
