ABT - Model CM Rapid Run -Agarose Resin for Ion Exchange Chromatography
CM Rapid Run™ Agarose Resin is engineered with a highly crosslinked matrix and a bead size range of 50-150 µm, activated using carboxymethyl groups. It is specifically developed for use in Ion Exchange Chromatography, a technique used for separating biomolecules based on their net surface charge. ABT distinguishes between two cation exchangers: SP Rapid Run™, serving as a strong cation exchanger, and CM Rapid Run™, which acts as a weak cation exchanger. This differentiation allows users to select the appropriate exchanger based on the molecular interactions involved. The resin's crosslinked structure aims to provide stability and resilience during chromatographic operations, maintaining efficiency across various applications in laboratories seeking to isolate proteins, enzymes, or other charged biomolecules.
CM Rapid Run™ Agarose Resin is a highly crosslinked matrix with a bead size of 50-150 activated with carboxymethyl. It is developed to perform Ion Exchange Chromatography and separate biomolocules on the basis on their net surface charge. ABT offers two different types of Cation Exchangers depending on their interaction strength: SP Rapid Run™ as a Strong Cation Exchanger and CM Rapid Run™ as a Weak Cation Exchanger.
