Hydralube - Model EHC -Accumulator Bank
The upgrade package is intended to modernize older outdated Accumulators on the EHC systems. This is a direct replacement design that can be mounted in Remote Location For easy service. When installed on the existing EHC system, the Hydra-Lube Accumulator Bank manifold incorporates Isolation valves, Bleed down valves, and a gas charge monitoring manifold that shows Nitrogen charge indication for each accumulator. The Accumulator Bank can be provided with piston and bladder accumulators.
Operation
The Accumulator Bank has a series o/4each 10- gallon bladder type accumulators. Each accumulator has 1 lockable isolation valve and 1 Bleed down valve. This will allow the user to isolate each accumulator to verify the nitrogen charge without causing a major pressure drop to the system pressure. By having the ability to isolate each accumulator maintenance can be performed. These accumulators can be rebuilt and the bladder can be replaced by removing the bladder from the Gas side of the accumulator.
Charging/Discharging Nitrogen Gas
The Gas Charge Manifold located on top of the accumulator has the ability to verify nitrogen charge. This manifold will allow the user to connect a gas charge hose to the manifold and add nitrogen to the accumulator. The Gas Charge Manifold also allows the user to bleed the nitrogen Charge from the accumulator by removing the plug on the rear of the manifold then using the needle valve to discharge the nitrogen.
