A400 is a sustainable, environmentally friendly, acetic acid resistant concrete with all the benefits of ultra high performance Cold Fusion Concrete, and:
- Acetic Acid Resistance: Designed to resist degradation from acetic acid concentrations up to 98%.
- Ideal for Food Processing: Performs well in industries like Food & Beverage and Animal Feed, where exposure to acetic acid is common.
- Custom Mix Availability: Offers flexibility with low and high slump applications and can be tailored for vertical or horizontal repairs.
A400 Cold Fusion Concrete is designed for environments exposed to acetic acid.
- Used for secondary containment, masonry mortar, drain systems, and flatwork in environments with exposure to acetic acid.
- Commonly used in food & beverage processing, animal feed, and petrochemical industries.
- Excellent for projects requiring strong resistance to acetic acid at high concentrations.
- ASTM C1157 Compliance
- Acid Resistance Testing
- Chloride, Sulfate, and Hydrocarbon Resistance Testing
- Compressive Strength Testing
- Compressive Strength: Reaches up to 9,000 psi at 28 days depending on the mix.
- Mixing & Application: Available in slumps from 1 to 10 inches, with fiber reinforcement for enhanced durability.
- Surface Preparation: Surface should be clean and moist but free from water. Bond can be strengthened through vibration when attaching to existing structures.
- Finishing: Quick finishing with optional polished surface through Fusion Finish. Avoid over-vibration during application.
- Shelf Life & Storage: Typical shelf life of 6-12 months when stored in dry, moisture-free conditions.
- A420 Low Slump Topical Sand Formula with 5,000 to 9,000 PSI compressive strength, size #8 sieve maximum aggregate and 1”-4” slump. Ideal for vertical and horizontal repairs, topping, masonry mortar and liners.
- A430 High Slump Self-Leveling Sand Formula with 5,000 to 8,000 PSI compressive strength and 6”-10” slump. Use for horizontal repairs, topping, and liners.
- A440 Medium Slump 3/8-inch Aggregate with 5,000 to 10,000 PSI compressive strength and 4”-6” slump. Suitable for secondary containment and structural concrete.
- A450 High Slump 3/8-inch Aggregate with 5,000 to 10,000 PSI compressive strength and 7”-10” slump. Perfect for secondary containment and structural concrete.
