ACS - Integrated Drilling Equipment Control (IDEC) Systems
The ACS-IDECS is an interactive system operated through the use of touchscreens and discrete controls integrated into the operator workstation. Touchscreens provide the driller the ability to supervise and control all drilling-related functions.
The components of the ACS-IDECS consists of two (2) Drilling Equipment Control Cabinets (DECC) which houses the necessary PLC’s and network devices, one (1) operator driller’s chair, and required the machine I/O panels.
ACS-IDECS drilling equipment controllers and 3rd party equipment interfaces connect via the network to touchscreens and to workstation MMI devices such as joysticks to provide monitoring and control of each tool. It also offers local and remote access to integrated diagnostics, alarms, or other functions provided by the 3rd party equipment controls that use industry standard machine communication protocols. ACS will use a Siemens PLC platform with Profibus, profinet, and Ethernet for communication protocols.
- Climate Controlled
- Touch-screen/joy-stick Technology
