ACT - Model DWM Series -Twin-Shaft Concrete Mixer
The DWM Twin-Shaft Concrete Mixer by Advanced Concrete Technologies is designed to meet the demands of ready-mix and precast concrete industries, where high-volume, high-quality concrete production is essential. It features counter-rotating twin shafts that offer rapid mixing and discharge, accommodating mix designs with coarse aggregates up to six inches. This mixer is available in six model sizes, providing options to generate 2 to 6 cubic yards of fresh compacted concrete. Distinguished by German engineering, it incorporates wear-resistant Ni-Hard arms, shovels, replaceable Armor Plate liners, and an oversized hydraulically actuated discharge gate. The mixer’s critical components are mounted externally to reduce exposure and enhance durability. An automatic lubrication system further extends the mixer’s operational life. Additionally, a weigher frame section can be integrated, incorporating a cement weigh hopper and aggregate holding or weighing hopper, upgrading existing batch plants to a central-mix facility.

Innovative features of this German engineered mixer are wear-resistant Ni-Hard arms and shovels, replaceable Armor Plate wear liners and an oversized discharge gate for fast discharge and shorter cycle time. The discharge gate is hydraulically actuated, with all critical components mounted externally to avoid exposure to the concrete mix.
The DWM is available in 6 sizes from 2 yd3 up to 6.0 yd3 true output of fresh compacted concrete. Other features include an automatic lubrication system ensuring long life and less wear of working components.
The DWM mixer can also be equipped with an optional "weigher frame" section which is integrated into the mixer top cover and shipped as a single unit. This includes a cement weigh hopper, aggregate holding hopper or weighing hopper, and galvanized water weigher. This arrangement makes it perfect for retrofitting an existing batch plant or for upgrading a dry batch ready-mix set-up into a central - mix plant.
