Adalet - Model XIH Series -Explosionproof Instrument Enclosure
The XIH Series Explosionproof Instrument Enclosure by Hazloc Genlo is engineered to provide robust protection for instrumentation in hazardous environments where corrosion resistance and explosion protection are critical. Constructed from copper-free aluminum, this single-ended housing features safety enhancements like offset NPT conduit feed-through hubs available in ½ inch or ¾ inch sizes. The interior design includes four mounting bosses with a 45-degree orientation, facilitating installation with blind tapped holes on a 2-1/2 inch bolt circle. Additionally, a 60-degree chamfer on the window opening improves viewing angles, while internal and external ground screws add layers of protection. The enclosure is available with either solid covers or a tempered glass window for local displays. A Buna-Nitrile rubber gasket ensures compliance with NEMA Type 4X standards for watertight applications, and a corrosion-resistant polyester powder coating is applied with stainless steel hardware for durability in hostile environments.
