POLAR - Adjustable Cooling Pack Vests
The adjustable cooling pack vests from Polar Products are designed for optimal body cooling, providing a practical solution for individuals requiring temperature regulation. These vests can accommodate different cooling packs, including the Kool Max® frozen water-based packs, which require freezer charging to deliver extended cooling energy for up to 3 to 4 hours. Alternatively, Cool58® phase change packs offer unique cooling properties as well. The cooling effect is facilitated by insulated pockets that maintain the cooling capacity of the packs. The vests are constructed using 100% two-ply soft nylon, a breathable and easy-to-clean fabric. Adjustable features include various sizes and designs, such as zippered or Velcro closures, and considerations for personalized fit with one-size-fits-most options. These vests are suitable for different applications including clean room environments and general use, ensuring comfort and adaptability across various conditions.
Which size and number of cooling packs would you prefer?
- Vests with 5-12 packs (4.5" x 6") allow for greater flexibility in weight and cooling location.
- Vests with 4 strip packs (approximately 6" x 15" each) for extended cooling and convenience in changing out the packs.

The insulated pockets inside the vest are compatible with your choice of cooling packs:
- Kool Max® Frozen Water-Based Cooling Packs require access to a freezer and offer the highest level of cooling energy for up to 3 to 4 hours. It's science! It takes more energy to charge these packs in a freezer and in return, the packs offer greater cooling energy for a longer time.
- Cool 58® Phase Change Cooling Packs fully charge (freeze) at 58ºF (14.4°C) and provide a comfortable, constant cooling temperature of 58ºF for up to 2 to 3 hours. Ideal choice when freezers are not available; these packs can be activated in 15 to 20 minutes in a container of ice water!
- You have the option to add an extra set of cooling packs with your vest. You may want to order both types of packs for flexibility on-the-go!
