Odour removal is achieved by bacteria, as in conventional biofilter. However, problem of like clogging, collapse, leakage emission points and the need for chemical usage above a certain enterance head, are seen in the old biofilter and its variations, have been gone away. Thanks to the special media developed, the installation space required for the system has been reduced by up to 20 times compared to the biofilter used organic filters. By means that different types of bacteria have been kept alive at different levels, total odor removal, not just hydrogen sulfide (H2S) can be achieved. There is no circulation pump, the intrasystem pressure loss is low. Thus, the use of electricity is minimum. NO chemical use.
