Advanced-CAE - Catalyst Metering System

This equipment consists mainly of Catalyst Transfer Cylinders and Catalyst Metering Cylinders.

Catalyst paste is transferred from the catalyst dispersion drum to Catalyst Metering Cylinders using Catalyst Transfer Cylinders for gentle handling of the catalyst and to completely empty the catalyst dispersion drum.

Catalyst Metering Cylinders are two carefully machined and finished jacketed barrels each fitted with close-tolerance piston. On one side of the piston is the catalyst paste and the other side is the hydraulic oil. The oil is pressurized and pumped into the barrel at a controlled volumetric rate, this moves the piston and feeds the catalyst mud into the process.

For continuous operation, each of the cylinders can be supplied so that one cylinder can be filled while the other feeds to the process.

Due to the volatile and combustible nature of catalyst the moment it is exposed to air (oxygen), we incorporated many sophisticated safety features into the system.
