Hydroleap - Model HL-EO Reactor -Advanced Electrooxidation Water Treatment System
FromHydroleap
The HL-EO Reactor by Hydroleap is engineered to offer an advanced water treatment solution employing the principle of Electrooxidation, a technology under the Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) category. It efficiently targets the mineralization of organic pollutants, eradicates microorganisms, and minimizes scaling issues in water systems. The reactor operates by employing direct current to produce potent oxidative species like Hydroxyl radicals, Chlorine species, and Sulphate radicals, which effectively decompose resistant substances. Its modular capacity ranges from 1 to 10 m³/hr, with power usage optimized at 0.3 - 0.5 kWh/m³. The fully automated system ensures high operational efficiency, requiring minimal space while significantly lowering energy and maintenance costs. The reactor delivers impressive results, such as a 99% reduction in color, microorganisms, and a Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) removal rate between 70% and 90%. Environmental sustainability is enhanced by reducing chemical dependency and ensuring no harmful byproducts, making it a viable option for sustainable wastewater management. Most popular related searches

The HL-EO adopts an emerging Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) technique (Electrooxidation) that focuses on mineralizing organic contaminants, eliminating or deactivating microorganisms, and mitigating the production of scaling in water systems. To do so, the HL-EO reactor utilizes direct current to generate highly reactive oxidative species such as Hydroxyl radicals (HO•), Free Chlorine (Cl₂(g), HOCl (aq), OCl⁻ (aq)) and Sulphate (SO₄•⁻) radicals that help break down recalcitrant species.
