INSTALLATION
During the installation phase of a job, you are certifying the underlying copper and/or fiber optic network infrastructure. TestPro can certify CAT6A in seconds, including all standards test parameters as well additional parameters such as DC Resistance Unbalance, TCL, ELTCTL, and distance to fault for RL, NEXT and Shield. TestPro can additionally provide Tier 1 fiber optic certification, and when combined with OTDR, Tier 2 fiber optic certification. Both copper and fiber testing support LiveWiremapTM providing you with instant audible and visual confirmation of end-to-end connectivity.
IMPLEMENTATION
For those responsible for the deployment and/or troubleshooting of end devices, such as digital lighting, wireless access points, security cameras, environmental sensors and more, TestPro provides you with an extensive test suite to assure infrastructure readiness to support these technologies.
Copper Cable Certification Testin
- TestPro has a 3GHz frequency range, which means your investment is protected when new test standards require this range.
- TestPro performs a CAT6A certification test including both standard and extended test parameters in 6 seconds.
Single Pair Ethernet (SPE)
- Supports 10BASE-T1L specification up to 1,000m with hot swappable test adapters.
Fiber Optic Certification
- Tier 1 SM and MM test adapters include an integrated Visual Fault Locator (VFL), and support testing of Resistance in Hybrid Powered Fiber cable.
- Support LiveWiremapTM for immediate audible and visual confirmation of connection and continuity.
- All test kits that include Fiber test adapters also include a fiber optic inspection scope
Wired Network Connectivity Testing
- Network discovery with drill down into seen devices.
- Switch detail include slot/port/VLAN.
- Troubleshooting Toolkit includes Traceroute, Ping, Traffic Generator, and TCP Connect.
- Network Autotest feature including savable report.
Wireless Network Connectivity Testing
- Auto-discover all 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi SSIDs and their associated RSSI values (received power level).
- Roaming signal strength tool useful for uncovering Wi-Fi “dead zones”.
- Troubleshooting Toolkit includes Traceroute, Ping, Traffic Generator, and TCP Connect.
- Optional Edimax EW-7822ULC Wi-Fi USB Adapter required and must be purchased separately.
PoE testing
- The AD-NET-CABLE adapter provides comprehensive testing for verifying PoE deployments.
- Supports 802.3 af/at/bt and UPoE for reporting of PSE configuration and full load testing with reporting of Current/Wattage/Voltage.
- Sustained loading of the PoE source over longer periods to identify hard to find intermittent power drops, through external loads.
Multi-gig Link Speed Qualification
- Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) testing of link speed, while under both traffic and PoE load up to 10GigE to provide assurance the cabling link will support the desired network rate.
Scalable and Flexible
- TestPro handsets can be configured as Main/Remote or both Main units, which can be independently deployed for end device implementation troubleshooting, or moves, adds, changes.
- One Main can talk to many remotes, cutting down on the time it takes to certify a job.

- TestPro comes with a 2-year manufacturer warranty against defects from date of purchase.
