Gess - Model BSK -Aeration Turbine
BSK aeration turbines are low-speed surface aerators with a vertical axis, used to saturate water with atmospheric oxygen, with constant stirring of the tank contents.
These turbines are designed primarily for activation tanks of biological wastewater treatment plants of sewage and industrial character. They can also be used to increase the oxygen balance in various ponds, sludge ponds, etc. It is also suitable for fish farms, where they prevent the surface around the aerator from freezing and supply oxygen to the water.
The aeration turbine consists of an impeller which is immersed in the aerated liquid. The impeller is briefly connected to the drive shaft of the extension hitch or the extended output shaft of the gearbox. This ensures a sufficient level distance from the supporting element of the turbine and the drive itself, ie. the gearbox with electric motor is easily accessible for maintenance needs. The supporting part of the extension hinge in the shape of a triangle is provided with three anchoring and at the same time adjustable screws for the needs of regulation of immersion, and thus also of the aerator power.
