R&R - Aerosol Overcap Placer

The Aerosol Overcap Placer consists of a two-level rotating turret designed to effectively handle and position overcaps onto aerosol containers. The machine takes caps from a queue and places them over containers transferred from a transport conveyor using shaped tooling and pneumatic systems. The turret mechanism then returns the capped containers to the transport line. Additionally, the system features a cap elevator that loads buttons from a hopper into a rotary cap sorter, which feeds the caps into the machine via an air-operated chute. Adjustable sensors are integrated to maintain the cap queue and orientation, accommodating different cap sizes and styles. The unit includes a control panel and operator interface for ease of use.
