Agrispread - Hydraulic Folding Wind Booms
The hydraulic folding wind booms have been developed for spreading low density material in strong winds. The booms create a tunnel of air for the product to travel so spread widths of Lime at 12m can be achieved in strong winds. The boom is hydraulically folded from within the cab to fold up and out to form a canopy in working position and fold back again allowing for quick folding during transport mode and for transport in-between fields.
The bolt on design ensures that the wind boom in folded position fits neatly into the spreader. An Arm extension set is available to increase overall width to 13.6m
All abrasive spreading areas of the booms are fabricated with stainless or rubber lined.
Available on 8 ton capacity models and upwards. Booms can also be retrofitted to AS1000 Series.
